Short, honest, plain language
Privacy Policy
This covers dateidea.us and applies wherever the site asks for your email, on the homepage or on any date-idea page. Last updated August 2026.
What we collect
The only thing we ask for is your email address, and only if you choose to give it to us in exchange for the 52-date deck or one of the other sign-up boxes on the site. Nothing else here requires a form: no account, no password, no phone number.
What happens when you sign up
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, submitted the form. Once that clears, your email is stored in a Google Sheet, our one list of record and the only place your email lives on our side. Then Customer.io sends a single transactional email with the link to the deck. That is the only email the sign-up triggers, no drip sequence and no newsletter you did not ask for.
Analytics
We use PostHog for product analytics: which pages and buttons get used, so we know what to build more of. It runs on a random ID stored in your browser, not your name or your email, and it does nothing at all if the analytics key is not configured. Your email address is never part of an analytics event.
Flamme, and the rest of the family
dateidea.us is one of a small handful of sites we run, alongside flamme.app, typeoflovers.com, and therelationshipquestions.com. Signing up here does not sign you up on any of them, each site keeps its own list. Links to Flamme from this site carry a tracking tag so Flamme knows a click started here; that tag carries no personal information, only where the click came from.
What we do not do
We do not run ads. We do not use affiliate links. We do not sell or rent your email address to anyone, ever.
Your choices
There is no newsletter to unsubscribe from, the deck email is a one-time send. If you want your email removed from the Sheet, or want to know what we have on file, write to hello@flamme.app and we will take care of it.
Changes to this page
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and move the date at the top.
